FAQs about our garden maintenance services
Do I need regular garden maintenance or just a seasonal tidy-up?
It depends on the size of your garden, the types of plants you have and how much maintenance you're happy to do yourself. Some gardens benefit from regular visits, while others only need professional attention a few times a year.
Do you provide one-off garden clean-up services?
Yes. If your garden has become overgrown or simply needs a good tidy-up, we can help. From pruning, weeding and hedge trimming through to green waste removal, we'll get your garden looking neat again before discussing an ongoing maintenance programme if you'd like continued care.
Can you maintain a garden that wasn't originally planted by you?
Absolutely. We regularly maintain established gardens of all ages and styles. We'll assess what's already growing and recommend the best approach to keep everything healthy and looking its best.
What if I'm away on holiday?
Many clients arrange regular maintenance while they're away to ensure lawns, hedges and gardens continue to be cared for. It's a great way to come home to a tidy, healthy garden.
How often should hedges be trimmed?
The ideal frequency depends on the type of hedge and how formal you want it to look. Fast-growing hedges may need trimming several times a year, while slower-growing varieties require less frequent attention.
Can you work around my existing gardener or lawn mowing service?
Yes. If someone already looks after your lawns or carries out other garden work, we're happy to provide the additional maintenance services you need without duplicating what's already being done.
Will you let me know if you notice problems in my garden?
Yes. During our visits, we'll let you know if we notice signs of pests, disease, drainage issues or plants that may need replacing, so small problems can often be addressed before they become more serious.
Can you tailor a maintenance programme to suit my garden?
Absolutely. Every garden is different, so we'll recommend a maintenance schedule based on the size of your property, the types of plants you have and the level of care you'd like us to provide.
